rainy day

Today I woke up (relatively) early and ate breakfast and helped my grandma around the house. It was super rainy so I also was inspired to do some drawing. :)

So that was fun, and then my grandparents went to a wedding of an old friend so I had the house to myself all afternoon and evening.. So I played piano for an hour and a half and watched a Disney movie because I was feeling nostalgic. Basically a perfect lazy weekend day.

Today I did homework & learned how to make paper cranes & cleaned my room & helped my grandma get groceries. :)

One of my crazy talented friends drew my eyeball picture that I took yesterday! It looks sooo cool.

So I was wondering what I could do with my paper cranes... I got inspired by some pictures I saw online and made this cute little thing in my window. :)

4 months to go!

As of today I only have four more months until I come home! 

Also: I tried to art. It went okay. I'm not very good at drawing realistically:)

Lovely Wednesday

Today was a half day like all Wednesday's are. It was super nice weather again/still, so I went for a run with Lara and did some doodling outside.:)

My grandma informed me that I have been invited (only if I want to come, of course, there are much more interesting things to do as a teenager on Saturday night) to a dinner with the couple who lives on the same floor as my grandparents do. She insisted multiple times that of course I didn't have to come, and the sweet lady hosting had offered to bring me dinner if I didn't feel like hanging out with a bunch of old people. I was shocked. Is that what people expect from teenagers these days? I think that it would have been ridiculously sad and rude of me to turn that down just because I didn't want to hang out with old people. Of course I can spend four hours of my life with some people that I wouldn't normally hang out with. Old people love young people, I've found out. It's almost like we're another species, we have such confusing lives apparently. Anyways, I'm actually excited to go, because this lady is super sweet and I like listening to older people. Yippee!

Grandpa's birthday dinner

Today I slept in and spent most of the day organizing my room, doing homework, drawing,

And going grocery shopping with my grandma. It was also my grandpa's birthday a few days ago so we went to a restaurant to celebrate that. It was a really nice lazy day. :)

Lazy happy Friday

Today we didn't have school (yay!) and so I hung out in my room, drew some stuff, and cleaned up. And I got to skype with my family and Kiley!<3

Have you ever heard of M.C. Escher? This is kind of inspired by him-only he did massive optical illusion drawings. This one's only about 1.5 inches big. :)

Nerding out

Today I read through most of the Uglies trilogy by Scott Westerfeld that I got at the thrift store. It's about a sixteen-year-old girl living in a utopian version of the world 300 years in the future. Pretty much the base for 99% of popular stories today. In any case, I recommend it. :)

I also did homework and some drawing! Yay!

Music & art

Today I decided to go thrifting after school with some of my Christmas money:) It was super fun and I got some really cute stuff, but we also had a p.e. test earlier that day, and I walked from one store to the other, which was farther than I thought... So I'm really sore. Woop. Oh well!

I've been obsessed with drawing Disney stuff and listening to Lorde lately... So I was somehow inspired to doodle (guess who?) whilst listening to my Lorde playlist on Spotify... :)

Almost school

Today I did homework and drew stuff basically all day. It was awesome:) Can you tell what this is?

But school starts the day after tomorrow already no no nooooo

New Years Eve I went to Dominic and Lara's for dinner, and then we played board games until early in the morning. It was really fun. :) Also, I got to drink champagne because I'm legal in Switzerland!

Today I got up wayyy late and spent the day cleaning & helping my grandma around the house and doing homework. Eh. But I did get to begin a new drawing! Yay! Can you tell what it's going to be?

I'm so excited for 2015 and everything it will bring. I think it's going to be the best year yet. Happy New Year!

Today I cleaned my room, did some studying, drew some stuff,

and put up multicolored fairy lights over my window that I plan on keeping up all year:) I also got a super nice surprise-Grammy called me! Love you! 💕

Suuuuuuunday

Today I got up late & did chores & homework pretty much all day. My grandparents had guests for a few hours, and so I finally got to meet the adorable old lady who knits me slippers every year! Just because she is friends with my grandma she has knitted me slippers for the past few years and it's so sweet.

I also did a drawing (obviously inspired by the movie I saw last night...)

And I Skyped with the Katie Bug!!! Miss you, girlie! <3

Today I got up late again, did homework, drew a bunch of stuff,

 and went to a concert with my grandma at a church that my grandpa was in.

Today I got up late and did homework, laundry, and doodled on stuff all day.

Friday! Week 12!

Today was a good day:)

We took a Spanish test and I finished it this time... (Finished filling in all the answers) as opposed to last time where I didn't have enough time...

Then I came home and did homework. But then Kayli snap chatted me and I had to pause the homework to do this:
