School again
Today we went back to school, but it was a really short day because a bunch of classes were canceled. :) It was gorgeously sunny, and I wanted to see how little I could spend on lunch & still be full... I ended up getting a banana, a yogurt, and a fresh roll for the grand total of 2.30. Healthy food is very cheap here, and it's the chips that are expensive. This leads to people generally eating healthier, which is clearly a good thing. I find it interesting that there are wayyyy fewer obese people (or even just chubby people) here... Might have something to do with making better quality food cheaper? *cough cough* America *cough*

Everyone has the plague
Today we had regular school but 6 people were gone sick. That's a bit more than a third of our class, which was weird. But it was a nice day anyways, and after school I took pictures with these adorable Easter egg candles that my grandma has and did homework. Everyone already has spring break! Ours doesn't start for another three weeks...

Happy Birthday, Dominic!
Today was a half day, and I went running with Lara and ate cake with Dominic for his 17th birthday:) It was a good day.
Also, if you are under the age of 30 and/or have access to the Internet, you most likely know by now that Zayn Malik officially left One Direction. I am having so much fun going through literally any social media site and seeing posts and videos of girls absolutely freaking out.

Strawberries & sunsets
I sound like a broken record because in almost every post I mention the weather. My excuse: I walk to and from school every day, so I really notice the weather, and there are a lot more sunny days here than in Montana, so I appreciate them more. Therefore I am again going to say that today was absolutely gorgeous.
I've also been getting more and more interested in photography, and I want to maybe start a blog for just my pictures. I'm not 100% sure yet. :) But anyways, here are some cute strawberries we had for dessert today, and a shot of the sunset because I liked the clouds.
By the way, it's the 31st anniversary of the day that the Breakfast Club kids met for detention!

Solar Eclipse
Today was another gorgeous day, and I got to taste my first Osterchuechli. (Easter cake) A pretty important event. Just kidding. But it's a specialty that's only available around Easter, so that's pretty special...
Also, there was a partial solar eclipse today! It was really neat to see. I tried to take a picture through a lens, but it didn't really work out.
Tomorrow is my Oma's birthday! We are going to go shopping for a laptop for her, and in the evening go to a play.
Tonight I Skyped with my mom and we talked about colleges and SATs and ACTS and whatever all the rest of the tests are called... How does one even pick a college??

Spring!
Happy Thursday!
Today was gorgeously sunny & warm, and in so excited it's almost springtime. :)
Also, normally when I come home at 6, the sun has already set and it's dark & creepy out. But not anymore! Yay for sunshine!
Here's a picture that I took the other day. I really like the perspective.

4 months to go!
As of today I only have four more months until I come home!
Also: I tried to art. It went okay. I'm not very good at drawing realistically:)

Happy sunny day!
Today was absolutely gorgeous weather-wise. I believe it said around 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit, which is really nice for March. It was so warm we sat outside for lunch:)
Today we got to go to school an hour later because our math teacher got sick, so I left the house at 9am and didn't have to be at school until 10. It's so cool to wake up in the morning and then walk down to the bahnhof and then to the tram in the morning when everything's waking up, and then again after school. I'm really going to miss so many things when I go back home.
